WHAT????? someone is pulling your leg. theoretically if you were to go swimming right after a meal the temperature change could cause you to suffer extreme cramps which theory says could be debilitating which would allow you to drown, assuming there was no one there to pull you out. I've never seen or heard of this happening and I personally don't believe it for a minute.

I think that is just as big of a myth as not getting in water after eating. I have showered and taken baths MANY times right after dinner and I am still alive and kicking, so I would say that this is a myth

Hmmmm, you have never in your life grabbed a bight to eat right before bath and bed? No, it will not kill you, and I don't know how anyone could think that it would, its a flippin bath. It's not like not swimming for an hour so you won't get a cramp and drown. Either your husband is really gullable, or you have been dooped.

You die only if the meal was excruciating, the meal was consumed in a dehydrated state and you swallowed water, in which case you can't even brush your teeth or, it is likely that your husband is pulling your soap on a rope.

In a word, NO, try eating after a bath, it is
much more relaxing, same for a shower.
