Grew up with Stine books but Pike is better as a writer by far.

Christopher Pike was better. I found all my old Stine and Pike books at my parent's house a few weeks back. I can't wait to pull out some old favorites and see if they're still good.

I would have to say Christopher Pike. RL Stine's books are great, but Pike's writing is fantastic! Love him. =')

As a pre-teen, I liked R.L. Stine, but as I grew older I liked Christopher Pike. I guess the answer for me is both! lol. After Christopher Pike, I wrote my own stories. lol.

I read most of them both when I was in the 4th grade. My favorite would have to be Christopher Pike. The vampire series was the best.

OH god i love them both! i used to collect them all from fear street to all the pikes. my choice would have to be Pike thou, as the fear street were great and all but u almost always knew how they would end. I have read all the pike books and there are even some adult ones that are great as well.
My personal faves were the "remember me" series. LOVE them! also if u get a chance read "sati" and "the season of passage" both VERY good!!!
I wish he would writer more adult novels now.

I read Stine's attempt at a mature book (adults not teens) and the writing style was just horrible. It amazes me that he could get stuff published. The book was called "Eye Candy"

You can purchase their e-books from reputable sellers like Fictionwise or Amazon (Kindle version), but any free download you find online will be illegal. Please don't support the theft of an author's work or participate in pirate sites that operate in violation of copyright.
