If this is a serious question, you can double up either you piinky and ring finger, or your ring and middle (this one is better). Don't double up your index finger-- you use it too much.

Actually the "best answer" is wrong. The index finger, which has no grip strength (compare it to your pinky against the thumb) goes to the outside as if there was a hole which many gloves have which avoids the pain with a hard pitched ball against the palm bones (metacarpals). Great example of the blind leading the blind and that is in no way to offend the questioner. I had the same question when I inadvertently bought a 4 fingered glove for my daughter. And for the others, a four fingered glove in question is a 4 digit glove, one thumb and 3 fingered. Bought it at target in 2015.

In the holes silly, they're made for four fingered people. It would look ridiculous if they had an extra finger on the glove.

Is this a riddle or trick question? Are all gloves four-fingered gloves (four fingers and a thumb)?

I've never seen a four-fingered glove.

The holes... If you have one to many fingers then use a hacksaw to get rid of the trouble-making digit.
