How can you restore the Sims 2 on the PC without using the installation disks?

For some reason. I cannot remember where I placed The Sims 2 and the expansion packs I bought. I just bought The Sims 2 Seasons yesterday, but unforntunately I can't play it, because it requires the Sims 2. If anyone knows how to recover the Sims 2 files, please answer my question!

The easiest thing is to see if one of your friends has the Sims 2 disks. That's how I got it on my computer.

You won't have much luck recovering them because they have probably been written over. You could try downloading them from mininova.org
