If I already dropped it one time?

No. You go back to court and say he did not comply with your private arrangement so you need them to in-force an order to pay. Now...don't drop it again. That money is to provide for your child so why shouldn't he pay? Stop being nice...and be real. Children are not cheap, and as they get older, so does the expense. All your doing is taking care of yours...he is grown and should want to take care of his. If he doesn't then let the system deal with him.

Do you mean that you were awarded child support and then, when he fell behind in the payments, you complined to the court but later dropped your complaint even though he hadn't paid up?

If so, yes. You need to hire a lawyer this time.

Why would you ask us that ??
What are your chances of dropping it again ??
It took the two of you to make the child or children.
If you need it bad enough, you'll file and not drop it.~~~Jill
