No, I'm afraid of the nurse who might be thinking about a fight with her husband that morning or what to make for dinner or when she can sneak out for a smoke next and while she's thinking about everything except where the needle should go she nicks something she's not supposed to and suddenly I've got a damaged tendon or something.

This is not my biggest fear, but it's not a big fear at all , only if someone suddenly jerks and pretends to poke me with it. Freakayyyy. I had a dream about needles once. A couple of months later, I became an amateur quilter with help from my grandma. Even more freakayyyy. Now I have a quilter's thumb. But still, I'm still freaked out of needles, but I poke myself and bleed all the time heh.

No. I have never been afraid of needles, I just hate how they look. Sharp things like knives, pins, and tacks freak me out. I've always feared of getting stabbed or something. Very wierd, i know, i give blood and get shot regularly, but I just can't look at the needle for long.

I'm terrified of needles. I have been all of my life. When I had to get the epidural when I was going through labor with my son...the doctor messed up so bad that I'm even more terrified to have another child.

Well, yes. I have piercings, and the thought of those needles dont bother me. but the idea of needles going into my veins freaks the heck out of me.

Terrified, always have been. But, I'm much better about them now than I was when I was younger. I still don't like them, but it's not the trauma it used to be.

I guess not. I am a nurse plus I take 2 shots per day, everyday. It wouldn't do me well to be afraid of them.

oh yes, when i was younger, it took my mom, my dad and a nurse to hold me down to be able to take blood. i hate them dang needles!
