For the same reason The Kansas City Chiefs have not
been able to win. A lot of transition of players and coaches.
Also, the curse of Namath. Every quarterback who comes
to the Jets eventually caves into the comparsion to "Broadway Joe".
The Jets may be able to in the next few years make a serious
run at the Superbowl. However, they are going to need
a deep receiver core and a solid safety, as well as an
defensive end. Chad Pennington can't do it by himself.

they havent won a super bowl in 40 years but they will win withn the next 2-5 years the team is very young and they only have a couple holes to fill such as linebacker and tight end. this seanson could have potentialy been 14-2 if they didnt screw up against chicago, indy, cleveland, and buffalo. the jets will win a super bowl soon and probably win thir division this season.

i'm a colts fan, so i prefer to ensure Tennessee lose.....i think of Brett's Jets are honestly going to hold directly to the lead..... as an element notice New England had a 10 element lead in Miami final I appeared. it somewhat is been going back and forth....might extremely prefer to ensure the patties lose...and it somewhat is nice on your jets.

Poor Ownership, tight cheeked mentality among the Administrative staff(esp. The PR DEPT!!) it would be nice if they cracked a smile every so often...They need a new PR director, the last two plus this one have all been Jerks... Until this GM,..poor moves in front office(Parcells left because they wouldn't let him run the show....)
They should have built their OWN STADIUM ON LONG ISLAND(not in manhattan or share one in Jersey!!)

Jets get raided in free agency. They need to use the advantages of the Big Apple. They need their own first-rate facility. They need to hire real football people instead of coasting on their fanbase.
In short, they need to spend like the Yankees.

because the AFC is too good. jets have to compete with SD, INDY, NE, etc.... the bears only had to beat seattle and NO. much easier than beating INDY and SD.
