i just got rainbow flip flops like... 3 days ago?
a lot of my friends had them and recommended them to me, saying that they would be "super comfortable" except when i first bought them and tried to "break them in," the straps were so painfully tight I was thinking of returning them...
but i discovered that if you figure out exactly where on the flip flop strap or whatnot is really tight and hurting your feet, just find some random stuff around your house and wedge it under the strap, kind of "stretching" it out so it's looser and more comfortable. Now, you can wear them around the house as much as possible for it to mold to your feet (without pain!) it's working for me so far, but i don't know if it works for the thin strap rainbows (i have thick strap ones)

Where do they hurt you?
Mine rubbed me a bit on the strap part, like the strings or something. Put some lotion on that part of the strap to soften the strings. If the toe part hurts, uh, I dunno.
I have gotten mine wet, they have paint splatters on them, they are so dirty but nothing is more comfy. I wish I still lived near San Clemente I'd get another pair for sure.

yeah i would really like to know all of my friends have them, but i don't because i don't know how long it takes to wear them in. i have some cowboy boots and when i first got them they were like steel toe! now they are the most comfortable pair of shoes i have. so just wear them regularly. good luck. hope you are not in too much pain... owww

you have to microwave them for like two minutes, and then wear them for like a day or two.
they will be the most comfortable sandals you've even worn.

they will, just keep wearing, couple weeks? if u get them wet them wear em its easier
