One of the first fundamentals of learning to be married, is ask yourself. Did he smoke weed before you got married? if the answer is yes, then you should have zero reasonable expectation he will stop. One of alot of womens mistakes, are thinking " Gee, I'll change him", Nope, be prepared to live with it, if not, divorce him.

What for dumb *** would marry a boy that smokes weed?

If I said it once I've said it a thousand times, never give sex to a boy for free let alone marry his boyish *** or they will never grow up.

You just one more dummy that screwed and married a boy that now wishes she had a MAN.

OK -- if it smokes weed it is a BOY not a MAN. Do not allow it to have sex, eventually it will grow up.

In your case your going to be stuck with a adolacent rebellion (how did I know that -- Oh that's how a boy acts) when you tell him to lay off the dope.

Let me know when you find out! I've tried the ultimatum, not for him to quit completely, but at least cut way down, worked for a bit, then if I don't get really upset he keeps doing it. It's now pretty much every day. If his parents found out they would freak! They think he's the perfect boy (yep, boy), but they don't have to live with his stoner ways. I guess tell hm that it upsets you. If it's just annoying, like him cutting his toenails in bed, then ask him not to do it often, or not around you. If you really hate it, tell him that.

If you force him to stop he may hold it against you. There really isn't much wrong with weed at least it is not meth , coke or heroin. If it bothers you that much leave the room. If you become a bicth he could decide to leave you. Which would you rather???

There are worse things in life I suppose.. It's like getting someone to quit smoking cigarettes, he needs to be well informed and help.. Exercise does wonders.

How do I get my wife to stop?
We are in our forties, and she still wants to party.
It's almost like she can't spend time with me without the "buzz"
and that makes me feel real special.

I bet he says he's not a child, and you should get over it because he's not doing anything wrong.
Bull****! I Love My Wife, but it has just about gotten to the marijuana or me. I want her to want to be with me for me, and not because she's high.

I too am at a cross-roads.

Good luck.

You can't - only he can decide to stop.
If it upsets his parents, and annoys you, you've probably already told him how you feel.

If he still won't stop, you need to leave. He probably doesn't believe it really bothers you all that much if you continue to stick around.
