I think that yahoo answers is a great tool. It is very helpful. You can not base anything that is said as "factual evidence" but if you are looking for ideas and opinions it is fantastic and people answer so fast, awesome.
Lets just hope the control freaks out there that want to ban sections of yahoo answers do not get there way or else it will totally be worthless.

it has helped me in one way. i have realized that there are an enormous amount of really stupid people in the world. but thank god i have found that there are a lot of really smart people too. i guess what i am saying is i had become conviced that 90% of the population of the world was just barely more intelligent than an earthworm that had been stepped on. i have been proven wrong and have a new faith in humanity. so that is yahoo answers did for me.

Absolutely! I had a totally stupid question that I really needed an answer to, and didn't want to embarrass myself by asking friends. People here came to my rescue, solved my problem, and did so without making me feel like a total idiot. I wish I could've Best Answered all of them!

Totally! Well even though I've never used it,my friends used it all the time. Sometimes they get answer that make sense and sometimes don't...

Yeah..its helped me deal with hubby.. He has a spinal injury and he likes to watch alot of sci fi..it keeps me sane while I am in the same room keeping him company
