Foot ball is in the fall, girls basketball i in the fall, and guys basketball is in the winter

They both go through 3 seasons. Football starts at the end of summer, goes through fall and ends in the winter; Basketball starts in the fall, goes through winter and ends in the spring.

Football is considered a fall sport, and basketball is considered a winter sport. HOWEVER, as you may know, basketball is played alot in the summer outdoors, and is considered a part of the SUMMER Olympics....go figure ???
