Many years ago I worked for a company that was named after two famous actors, John Wayne and Debora Kerr. It was called
Wayne Kerr PLC Now that was embarrassing!

You should be proud of yourself for working, be proud of your employer.
I shop Target and know the abuse cashiers take, it isn't an easy job so be proud you do it.
My daughter works at Walgreen's, has been there for 3 yrs or so. She started as a cashier, has paid most of her college fees herself. She is now thinking of working for Walgreen's as a loss prevention supervisor. This position requires a 4 year degree in criminal justice which was already her major.
You will find your future only by looking at your today. Be proud of what you do and that will carry you through.

No, that is honorable work. And you are being responsible working at a flexible employer while you seek a college degree. You should be proud, not embarrassed.

No, but if you feel embarrassed, it is probably because you feel that you could be doing better. Let that motivate you to work hard and get ahead in life.

Don't ever be embarrassed of what you do. As long as you're happy, don't worry about what other people think, say, or do.
