Which is better for a guitar: acoustic or electric? Second of all, do electric guitars go on fire?

Electric are good if you want a techno sound and acoustic are better for slower music. No they dont get cought on fire

Electric guitars do not catch fire. It is better to learn on an acoustic guitar. I have been playing guitar for years, acoustic, and electric.

Learn on an acoustic, electric will be easier when you pick one up, and no, that's just a stage trick with lighter fluid to set your guitar on fire.
