1. No he did not use drugs.
2. he would drink some but this was not the reason for the abuse.
3. no smoking
4. No he did not drink alot of caffeine.
He had anger issues and did not know how to handle them and he did not know how to be a loving husband. Alot of it had to do with how he was raised and how he watched his dad treat his mom. This is all he knew. Very sad but true! He was mentally and emotionally abusive NOT physical.
This was my first husband and marriage not my current one. My current marriage is very loving and good. No abuse here.

caffeine not sure , but no he doesn't use drugs. My husband was abused as a child & sometimes doesn't know how to express his feelings positively because he was not taught that. His mother left him & he was verbally & physically abused alot growing up. Sometimes you have to understand the person but if it is an all the time things & no apology that is different

1. yes, ex-fiancee was doing and dealing drugs, which put me in danger of arrest. Used w/out my knowledge and had pissed off a few people who were ready to talk to cops, all under my nose. (i was working full time and going to school full time) By the time i found out, it was almost to late. and it would not have saved or helped me that i was sober and not doing anything!!!
2. my ex-fiancee was an alcoholic--which i can see now, yrs later. He abused me mentally and physically, but i kept hoping for the best. He had an attitude of he-could-do-what-he-wanted with no consideration of me--which finally, one day revealed itself to me, and i left his ***!!
3. he smoked, in the house, continuously, even after i asked him to quit and take it outside. I smoke, and go outside, at my home or anyone elses.

I never have been, but I pray every woman that is finds the strength to get away while she can. If a man truly loves a woman he'll never lay his hands on her in anger. As for the verbal abuse the saying "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt." is wrong...words break hearts and a broken heart is harder to heal then broken bones.
