This may go down as one of the most lopsided trades ever, if the draft picks the Sixers got in the trade pan out. And I'll take Andre Miller over Iverson any day.

Yo Makara - get your facts straight jackass - wins against Phoenix and the Lakers are part of that streak.

As far as Iverson goes, they actually have been trying to dump him, even before he said he wanted out. Just nobody in their right mind was willing to give up what the 76ers had wanted in return. At least not until Denver decided they could.

Sixers had the pieces of a complete team after the Webber and Iverson trades. Iggy is definetly stepping up. THey are learning their stregnths and weaknesses. I think that next year they will be a good team and have a definite spot in the playoffs. Don't get me wrong , but Philly had alotta good years with Iverson. I really thought that this year was going to be a good year with him. But I guess we're better without AI. Hope sixers make the playoffs. 8th seed is still in the picture (ithink???)

dont hear on those haters. I just watched the sixers played the lakers just now and they did a great job in shutting down Kobe Bryant in the second half limiting him to like 7 points. Andre Iguodala did a great job hustling and has shown potential of being an allstar player and is a candidate for most improved player this year. And oh yeah, Joe Smith and Andre Miller were also very good players and overall i thought it was a lopsided trade too and we still have two first round picks and im very excited as i have been a sixers fan for many years. The team is finally playing like a team now, as everone contributes and the defense is improving causing many turnovers for the lakers and its just plaing exciting to watch them play...

Trust me, they are going to make it to the playoffs...You heard me say it...

And btw, dont disrespect Iverson, hes my fav player and he is a very unique player in my opinion hes barely 6'0 but plays big every night although his fg% is low and he can learn to pass more, bt he is a future hall of famer so dont hate on him...

I can't believe you would say that. DO YOU REALIZE ALL A.I. GAVE TO THE SIXERS?! They're winning, because the team is a good fit. NOT BECAUSE THEY DITCHED IVERSON!! Have you ever seen Iverson play in person, he's amazing. he's the only person, who was able to pull us out of some tough games. On top of that he DID PASS. Unlike, some other players on other teams, I will not name. *cough* Kobe. Andre Miller is great, but he will never be able to do 1/2 of what Iverson did for the team! Allen was the only one bringing in a crowd at some points, so to say why didn't we get rid off him earlier, is stupid, and moronic.

now you say that. would you have been saying the same thing the day the trade happened? philly fans would never dump iverson. thats a fact. but in reality miller was a better fit because he is a traditonal PG with great passing abilities. perfect fit for guys like iguadala and carney and korver. miller is bringing out the best in them.

yea, iverson did do alot for the team, he single handedly took them to the finals against an overmatched lakers team w/ kobe and shaq, but towards the end of his philly career it was clear there were 2 oppossing ways the sixers wanted to go with and eventually the devolopmental side won over the webber/iverson veteran combo

Webber was the problem in my opinion, but Iguodala has carried the team, and with their draft picks could help them a lot. They could be a serious contender in about 2 or 3 years.

Iverson was over rated. I could score 40 points a game if I took all the teams shots.........
