Lol, nice question. My guess is Elvis. Frank SInatra may have the better, more classy voice, but Elvis would appeal more to the youngsters who make up the bulk of the show's audience, especially the females. Besides, his style brings more pop to the table, while old Blue-Eyes is more laid back.

Sinatra would pimp smack Simon, light a smoke pour a drink and take home the prize. he was the man and he did it his way. Elvis himself admitted to selling out and towards the end even he hated the music he was making.

considering every winner Kelly , Ruben, Fantasia, Taylor and Carrie, and even some of the second place finishers (Clay, Diana Degarmo, etc) are from the South, it'd have to be Elvis
