There was no wet floor sign or anything...my hip feels a bit bruised but nothing major..i filed an incident report. am i able to get paid??

Paid for what? You apparently were not injured seriously enough to require medical treatment. Compensation is for damages and/or significant pain and suffering. You appeared to have neither. You were lucky. Count your blessings that you did not have a serious injury.
