I took a pregnany test on Monday and Tuesday morning. Both negative. I'm a week late. Do I take another test, and when, or do I just go to the doctor? Or Do I stop freaking out and wait another week before I even think about this!!

First off, stop freaking out!
Wait another week and take another test. If it's still negative, see your doctor. If it's positive, see your doctor.
I know it's hard to wait, but you're going to have to wait another 9 months to see your baby! You have to learn to be patient some time!!
(P.S. thank you for not asking the question "my boobs are tender. Am I pregnant?" )

Well, I think you should take a test first thing in the morning when your pee contains a larger concentration of the PG hormone that accounts for the line. Make sure you are buying a PG test that can detect you being PG a week from your period. I think if you take a test in the morning and it is still negative, you should still go see the doctor if your period does not start in another week. Sometimes your period can be off due to hormones, stress, weight, or many other situations. I wouldn't freak out, just relax and give it a few more days. Good luck.

Take one more test, in the morning like you said. If it is still negative and no period you are going to want to go to the doctor to see what is going on. You could be pregnant and need a blood test or there maybe something else going on. Good luck to you.

I would say you're not pregnant. Those tests are pretty sensitive and a week late, if you were pregnant, would be plenty of time for your body to build up a good supply of hcg for the pregnancy test to detect. Your stress over possibly being pregnant could be delaying your period. If it goes on much longer, make an appointment with your doctor just to make sure nothing else is wrong.

Any or all of the above are good choices. Whatever makes you the most comfortable, do. If it was me, I'd try another test this coming Monday and if you don't have your period or a positive pregnancy test, see the doctor.

Well, you should take another one in about a week you might not have enough HCG for the test to predict right now. However, if you are nervous and need to know now you should call your doctor they can do a blood test! I hope it works out the way you want it to!! GOOD LUCK hun!!

If you have been menstruating for more than 3 yrs., and are sexually active, there is chance that you are. Did you have intercourse while you were ovulating?? You can only get pregnant when you ovulate. Wait another week, that another test and go to the dr. If you are not prenant, something else might be wrong!

I'd wait week and test again. When my mom was younger she took a feww pregnancy tests that came out negative... well apparently my big sister likes to prove things wrong. Try not to stress out because that can delay your period.

There is no telling Go take a test at the doc and if he/she still says negative then go home relax and wait. Sometimes we stress ourselves out and we make ourselves skip our period. If the doc says no and you relax, and then you still miss then go back to the doc and take another test_good luck in whatever it is you want
