Help with theMotorola i880's Music Player Function?

My memory card shows that there are music files successfully stored in the music folder, but the phone continues to tell me that there are no music files found. How can I get the Music Player feature to work on my phone? This is the main reason I chose this phone, but I can't get it to work!

How can you change the bit rate of the song? I'm at 192kbps???

You need to make sure the bitrate of the songs is no higher than 128kbps and the file name is no longer than 32 characters including the extention(.mp3). The title of the song will still show on the phone because of the ID3 tag of the file.
