VS will take returns for up to 90 days with a receipt.
From their website (this is for web purchases, could not find a store return policy)
We take great pride in our reputation for quality and excellent value. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a purchase, we'll assist you with a prompt refund or exchange. No sale is final.
Refunds for items returned within ninety days of the purchase date will be credited in the same form as the original payment type.
Refunds for items returned more than ninety days after the purchase date will be in the form of a merchandise credit redeemable with your next purchase.
I assume they would take back a bra (with no obvious signs of wear) if THE TAGS WERE RETURNED WITH THE BRA. They wouldn't take it back without tags at all. As for the thongs, I don't know of ANY store that will accept underwear (unless packaged in plastic and unopened) to be returned. I know in PA, they state that they cannot accept underwear returns BY LAW. Any store that takes a return based on the receipt will mark the receipt items as returned, to prevent stolen items from being exchanged for cash with a legitimate receipt.
As for the sizing - my husband couldn't buy me a bra if you paid him to, so I don't know about that. Depending on the bra, a mistake could be made. Some of my bras look a LOT bigger than others.
But, based on your other questions... I think you already know all these answers.

You have asked multiple questions on here concerning your cheating husband over the past couple of weeks. Dozens of people have told you he is a cheater and a liar; and you have obviously not listened to anyones opinion.
I have worked in retail before, retail stores will not take back tagless merchandise, and the receipt would definitely be marked in some way. A store such as VS requires proof of purchase due to high volumes of theft. It is unfortunate, but the retail world requires this type of security and proof of purchase.
If you truly want help, you need to get yourself out of this marriage, he is cheating on you.
When you talked about your son going to another ladys house and out to a resturant, that should have been a warning sign. Hire a lawyer and kick this cheater to the curb. He moved you back to your parents home to get you out of the way, so he would be less likely to be caught.
I wish you and your child or children the best of luck.

My friend jasmine and I were just at VS the other day and she was attempting to return a "not so cute" piece that her husband had bought her for V-tines day. As a gift, her had removed the tags and she didnt want to offfened him by asking for the tags (she had reciept oo i believe) and the would NOT take them back. That answers your initial question. As for unsolicited advice i offer none, but you know what is going on here. I am sooo sorry, you sure dont deserve this treatment.

You have your husband in a corner. No Victoria's nor anyone else will take underclothes back with out reciepts and tags and would be reluctant to do so anyway simply because they are "underwear." Your husband needs to come clean and tell you who the other women is. Good Luck.

There is a huge difference in size there that is like comparing skinny and fat. Wow you already know the answer just want other to confirm your thoughts. I also dont know why he would have the tags in his wallet if he went to return the items wouldnt he need to use the tags come on. All the signs are there. Now it is up to you on what you want to do.

Love, I don't think so,esp. the thong, that is a bit too personal for the store to take it back, cause they are very careful on getting some kind of bacteria or disease. Store policy can not take back underwear, esp. for women. You can return the bra that is all.
Your husband is caught and his lying big time, and yes you are right, store will keep the receipt when a costumers return some merchandise,.............be aware, he thought your a fool, don't let him....

Well, your suspicions are up no matter what. You may not know 100% positively, but you suspect and you are probably right. His excuses are sorta silly, but just plausible enough for him to believe he is getting away with something. I think you might be in for a very rough few months, maybe years ahead and you need to prepare yourself mentally for your hubby probably having an affair. Good luck and take care...affairs are painful business and you need to be strong.

It's time to boot the cheater.
According to this website he cant return the item without the tags attached. For undergarments that would indicate that the item has already been worn and that would be a health hazard.
