I don't care about a person's religion. Most people who practice any kind of religion are easier to get along with... simply because religious people usually (just usually though) live by some set of moral code. I think people who practice Wicca often get seen as "devil worshipers" and most people don't even understand what the religion is about. But misconceptions are true of any religion, I guess.

I think it is very cool and when i was younger and didn't know what Wicca was i would pretty much do the same. Besides some of the people i know are into Wicca and believe in the gods and goddesses and such. But i believe i would need to learn more from experience before i actually learn about Wicca from books or anything.

I think they are wonderful caring people. I am a witch, but not Wiccan. But the belief system is basically the same. The only thing that bothers me are the "fluffy bunnies", the young pretenders who are using it to shock their parents or for some reason they think it makes them cool. They know nothing about it other than what they have seen on TV or in movies. And we all know that is not how it is in real life. I would bet very few of them know the entire rede, not just the main 8 words, nor do they understand the law of 3. I am just afraid that they will give the serious practitioners a bad name (and we already have enough negativity to combat)

Your definition of Wicca needs to be revised. There are books on the topic in the New Age section of your local Barnes and Noble. Wiccans are good and honorable people.

Well, I did some reading on Wicca and although it's great they worship Mother Earth, the having gods and other things kinda weirded me out...

I was taught about Wicca and the part about Nature that they believe in, I also believe in. and they do have a lot of strong points if you venture into what they believe in and do. You have to have an open mind to understand what they are all about. But I tend to believe more in the way The Native Americans do their rituals and their ways of life. It's much more real and awesome.

As a practicing witch and a wiccan, I have no problem with it. What bothers me though is that there are some who dont want to follow the witch'es rede and/or apply the law of 3 to their lives. What makes it worse is that they term those of us who do as fluffbunnies and activly try to get others to follow their foolish example.

The same thing I say about people of any religion: Let them believe whatever they want, as long as they're not hurting anyone or shoving it down my throat.
