No they do not hate him because he is India. Coming from an Indian, I think he is just not good enough. Indians need to learn that this is not Indian Idol. In Indian Idol, people pay people to vote for people on this show. This better not start here. He is a wonderful singer, but not good enough for the show and the other contestants are just better than him. He could win talent competitions, but not American Idol. He need more training. In a few years, he might have a chance in American Idol.

NO! Everyone hates him because he's a bad singer. SunDance shouldn't of gone home. Sanjay was horrible. He better not be the next American Idol!

I actually like him b/c he has a unique voice, and that's what I try to look for, not one who sounds exactly like some other famous singer. I think the idol should be someone who has a whole new sound, even if they're not the strongest vocally. He does need a lot of work though.

His race has nothing to do with it. His singing isn't what it was at the audition. He was a much better singer at the audition. But since then he has gone down. If his singing career doesn't work out for him I think that he should go on the cover of a tween magazine for those tweenager's who voted for him. And his name is Sanjaya.
