is teaching a good job and around how much will i get paid?

I taught in Nebraska, in the Public Schools, and starting pay was just above 30,000/ year. But I'm sure it changes per city/state.

Depends what level you teach at, the degree you have- bachelors, masters, ph.d.
also depends what city/state you are in.
