Read "Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars", this book addresses your problem. I think you both have different expectations, and you don't communicate very well. Maybe some marriage counseling would help.

I would say she should call, however - if you are into something, it's not hard to lose track of time either. Was she in a meeting? Was she trying to finish up for the weekend? Was her boss making her do last minute phone calls? There's a lot of situations that would warrant NOT calling, but I would think around the 1 hour mark - you should expect a call. Does she have a cell phone? Commute?

it all depends on the situation. some people 'check in' somuch with their partners that it makes the partner feel ike their being monitored or controlled. i'd say if you do it only when she is late & b/c YOU ARE WORRIED and NOT b/c you suspet she's cheating on you, then it's ok. and of course we all want our partners to have repsect for us and let us know when their going to be late.
however, from what you've said about feeling negative, you may get worked up over situations that don't call for it. if she's been late before i wouldn't worry about it. but if this is a rare occassiona nd she hasn't called, don't argue with her abotu it. just let her know that you were worried and in the future you'd like it if she could call.
good luck! also, have you guys considered counseling? sounds like you really love her.

She should have common courtesy to let you know it may be longer than she expected. But hey, pick up the phone give her a call and say hey I was getting a little worried about you. That is the truth right? If she gives you the business for calling, maybe she is the negative one. You know it takes alot to gain someone's trust, and alot to keep it. Obviously you don't trust her, or you wouldn't be having problems. She should help you to rebuild the trust .

No, you`re right you`re asking for common courtesy. I would be upset, what if she got into an accident, or she was stuck somewhere? All these thoughts go through your head...

Dude. Your woman has someone else and she is trying to pick fights with you. That way she can tell her new lover "all we do is fight".
