Some questions about being a high school art teacher!?

I'm from Scotland but i now live in B.C Canada and i'd like to be a high school art teacher. Art was the only subject i enjoyed at school. I know the pay is poor and the work is thankless but only four things in life matter to me:

My family, my guitar, the love affection of a beautiful and kind hearted woman, and motorbikes.

Yes that really is ALL i care about and want in life!

So canadian teachers! I ask thee:

A: When does the school day begin and end for you? How much free time do you get to spend with your loved ones and motorbike* (*or the equivalent thereof)

B: What does a canadian teacher earn each week (on average) Can you teachers comfortabuly support your familys, pay the rent/mortgage, bills, and run/insure your motorbike*? (or equivalent thereof)

C: I have a tatoo of flames around my right arm from my wrist to about 5 inches below the bend of my elbow and i ride a motorbike. Would they let me near the building or would i be too much of a... "bad influence"

Answer 1

A: 7-9 am depending; school is roughly 8 hours

B: Salary varies upon experience and Advanced Degree you have. Teachers will never be rich.

C: If have tats, and it isn't a problem. You may want to be discreet about them though.
