Technically we are still in an ice age, the polar caps are covered in ice, the current inter-glacial period looks to be ending soon, but will it be the end of the ice age with global warming or will the climate change stop the gulf stream & start the glaciers rolling again?

Good question. Ive often thought about what would happen if the gulf stream were to stop, causing the glaciers to grow. The only way to really stop the ice age, if we let it get that bad, would probably be to try to get the earth even hotter. If not, Mexico will be facing a huge wave of American immigrants!

There are so many Ifs and buts that no one knows just what will happen. The planet is in constant change and man has altered this some but just how much and what that will cause is not know.
Many ideas out there and some of tem will come to be for a while but in long term we just do not know.
Yellowstone national park in the USA could very easily put the earth back into an ice age. This can happen at any time. Probably not for a while but we just do not know.

We didn't stop it the first time did we? Consider what things we can stop. Cancer. Kidney failure. Mental illness. Learning disabilities. Divorce. Child Abuse. Molestation. Rape. Murder. Ok, get the idea. Many many things we cannot change we must change ourselves and as long as we are fighting in our own homes there will be no peace in this world.

the ice age is pretty natural, so we probably cant really stop it if its made by the most powerful power of the world called mother nature. we'll never change her.
