Are you still friends or did he go further than telling you he is gay. If he just told you so you would know, how do you feel about that is the question. Are you comfortable with it. Do you still consider him a friend. If this is the question? You are the only one that can answer it. Did you tell your friend you are not so he understands where you stand on the issue..Complex is it not

to me it sounds like your best friend has confided in you knowing that hopefully it is a true friendship and that he can trust you. the one thing that you should not do is turn your back on him just because he told you he is gay. a lot of women hang with gay men because the are more honest and sincere than some other people they call friends. there is nothing wrong with being gay they are just human beings just like you and me and we all have feelings and difference of opinions so who are we to judge.

What is wrong with being gay? it is his choice....i am sorry but get over it I am sure he is still a good friend but if you can't get past his gayness then you aren't a very good friend!!!

Just tell him the truth how you feel...
If you're not in acceptance of his lifestyle choice, let him know but do not be judgmental of it of critical of him.
If you're cool with it, let him know how you feel.
If you're willing to try to be cool with it, let him know this as well.
Best thing is to be upfront with it in any choice you make...hope things work out...after all: he is your friend.
