A portable dish washer has a dual hose that fastens to and locks on the spout of the sink. The upper hose it for the water inlet and the lower is the drain hose which dumps waste water into the sink. If you are convinced you want to do this go to an appliance showroom and look at the portable dishwashers. The special hose and power cord are usually mounted on the back and pull out if the cabinet.

I can remember doing this at one time many eons ago! I hope yours turned out much better than my prehistoric looking box for a dishwasher! The cord needs to be proper amps and not long in length. The drain has to higher than output in back of dishwasher so do not make it level with sink..For the water connection I would consult a small appliance repair (one man operation) and procure hose connection from another appliance that may have went bad because of motor or whatever. These connections are durable and you will also need an adapter for the faucet where the screen is to attach the connection from the dishwasher. These are under $10.

If you have the outer box you can see if the manufacturer has an adapter hose set for it. The portable ones have a hose set that is a combination drain hose with a supply hose that is made to snap onto the end of the faucet with the drain pointing down. Without that it will be pesty and ugly to connect that set of hoses and keep it from slipping and flooding the floor.

you will need to get a hose assembly for a portable dishwasher and the faucet adapter for the sink. you will also need the correct casters for the leg bolt holes. you will also need to get a cord and wire it correctly to the junction block on the dishwasher. and you should make sure that the outlet that it will be plugged into is grounded. good luck, by the time you are done with all of these purchases, you will probably spend almost half the price of a portable dishwasher.

basiclly....not worth the effort. a built-in has no exterior shell or case to it and you will be looking at the inards of the unit.
