Whatever your friend decides - whether to move out or get help outside or shift out to place far away etc, be there for her and make sure that you always know where she stays and her whereabouts... I have a few friends who ran away from home and after some time they realise that I'm the only one who support them and always in contact with them no matter what, even when they are hundred miles away. If other normal friends, they would just forget the girl and the girl would be much more into trouble... think about it, help as much as you can by being in contact.

No frying pan is throwed by accident. Now if things is all that bad she need to have a talk with her dad and let him know what is going on and really express to him that he needs to pay more attention to thing that go on and do something about it and if dad don't help her then she need to talk to someone at child protective services and maybe her dads chief.Or someone at school.

Your friend sure has a dysfunctional family. Be supportive of her. Encourage her to talk to her school counselor if she is being abused. Especially if her dad is a cop. The police will not put up with one of their officers abusing family.

sounds to me like maybe you should call the cops on a dad who is a cop, but doesnt stop abuse...really sad! if she is old enough, she needs to move out, move with a friend or other relative.

She sure ain't lucky. I thing another thing to do would be for her to leave her home and go people she trusts like family ( who doesn't have mental problems ) or friends.

Nobody deserve that kind of treatment.

call your local child protective services, no child deserves that ! And for her father well that pig needs to be rolled into a blanket for not protecting his child !
