Yes it would. I can watch heart surgery and any other type but i have a thing about eyes, It would terrify me! Im also a big baby, LOL.

kinda, there is the chance that you could have worse eyesight than when you started or none at all...but realistically, anyone who is put under anesthesia for any reason has the same risks, heart attack, stroke, death, etc.
the risk is actually very low that you will have any complications and these risks and side effects are just things that they must warn you of.

don't do it. my boss had it done 3 months ago and there is scar tissue in his right eye. his vision gets blurry in that eye and he needs his glasses to read. so, yes, it scares me after seeing what he has been through.

yes have you seen the episode where homer gets laser eye surgery and his eyes crust over...shudder.
