Did anyone notice that dairy products (such as milk and cheese) caused really bad gas and bad stomach aches during early pregnancy, especially if you never had a problem with dairy before getiing pregnant?
Cause I have never really had issues with dairy, I always drank fat-reduced milk before getting pregnant b/c the whole milk was too harsh on my stomach. Now I cant even drink fat reduced milk or cheese without getting horrible gas and mild stomach aches. Is this pregnancy related?

I developed a major aversion to milk during my first trimester. It just made me feel so ill. Some cheese made me ill.
Now that I am in my 2nd trimester, I love the taste of milk. It doesn't make me sick at all anymore.

I was just googling about this, myself. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and had a strong aversion to milk early in pregnancy, until a few weeks ago. I started drinking milk again. It sounds good, but whenever I drink it, it makes me so so sick. I used to drink a ton of milk and never had any problems at all. I'm guessing it's pregnancy related and it if it continues could be a sign of an allergy the baby may have.

Yes, I did. I never had a problem with dairy before I got pregnant, but after gettting pregnant, I believe I became a little lactose intolerant especially when it came to actual milk. I even developed an aversion to cheese . Just looking at it make me want to vomit. The good thing is that it did eventually get at least a little bit better.

It could be. Milk or any other dairy product never bothered me when I was pregnant. If your really concerned about anything during your pregnancy you should call your doctor. Also, a REALLY good book when your pregnant is called What to expect when your expecting. It has alot of good information for first time or even second time + mothers.

It's probably pregnancy related, and it should pass soon, but in some cases those symptoms might last the entire pregnancy. During my first trimester I sustained myself on a lot of broth and other mild foods because everything else made me feel nauseous.
