Well, when the oil companies report record profits recently of 30 billion, not million plus dollars and executive bonuses rumored to be in the neighborhood of 300-400 million dollars, who knows! I am sure the powers that be are certainly aware of the public's outrage at these continually rising fuel costs. This of course also effects higher prices for anything delivered by diesel big rigs, UPS, air for food, deliveries through online buying, etc. I think some consumers, including me have cut my driving trips down more than usual.

i've been outraged, but lately i've grown to accept that i'll be paying inbetween $2.20-2.80 a gallon for gas... i think if it starts going into $3.00 or more again, everyone will get a little more pissed off... it just seems like the prices have settled a little more lately. i live in southern ohio though, so i don't know what prices are like anywhere else...

If the federal government would not take $2.3 Trillion of the American taxpayers' money, everyone would have more money to buy gas. Especially, since liberals believe poor people pay all the taxes.

I forgot. The government cannot be greedy, only corporations.

Probably not until it's about $8 a gallon because at that price even the super rich people will not want to pay for it....

Heck yes. I decided last year when gas hit 3.00 to savce my money for a new car that uses less fuel.

They tricked us into complacency by lowering prices a bit, now they'll creep them back uy again. Dont buy it! Dont buy a gas guzzler!

Yes, I am so angry about gas prices.
Where I live, gas is $2.48 and I go the grocery store and library, and that's it. Can't afford more gasoline than 2 tanks per month.
Any ideas on what the Average American CAN do?
Thanks, and good luck.

You don't see Europeans rioting in the streets at 8 bucks a gallon. It could get ugly.
