I've heard they're making 1 to get deeper into Wolverine's story. I've also heard here on Answers that Magneto would be the center of 1, but I don't see that.
I'd like to see X-men 4. I really like the others. And since at the end of 3 Magneto moved the chess piece slightly w/o touching it, it seems they're leaving it open for 4.
Wolverine's my favorite super hero. So if I could have a mutant power, it'd be accelerated healing...but only if I had the adamantium skeleton & claws to go with it.

They're considering making another movie about Wolverine only, and Magneto only, but not an actualy X-Men 4. (Mainly because half the cast said they'd only do three.)
I'd want either Storm's, Magneto's, or the Professor's power, just cause they're so cool. I'd really like Rouge/Marie's, but only if it was able to be controlled.

Yes they are. They are making another one in addition to the wolverine movie. They are going to have it focus on another group of X-Men, kinda like how the different series have different x-men. I can't wait for it. I'd like to have Jean Grey's (pre-phoenix) powers!!!!

Yes...it appears so. Two of them...maybe three...after all the movies did over 1.1 billion dollars in ticket sales world wide.
The Titles are up in the air for the time being. Probably a version of Ororo and Kurt's powers would appeal to me...a teleporter who can raise storms...even in space...
Ain't It Cool News received word that Brian Cox told BBC's Film 2007 that he was asked to be in Wolverine:
It's set seventeen years ago, which is fine for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine doesn't age but for me, I'm thinking they could what they did with Patrick and Ian for the start of the third one. I know my character is in it, they've asked me to be in it but that was a while ago now, it's completely stalled so no start date as yet.
==============
Spin-offs: Lauren Shuler Donner, producer of all the X-Men films, has said the movie studio is interested in producing two spin-off films. One film will star Wolverine, in which Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as the clawed warrior. Screenwriter Sheldon Turner is currently working on bringing Magneto to the big screen in his own spin-off film. The plot will deal with the character's friendship turned sour with Charles Xavier. Turner has stated that "It's going to take place from 1939 Auschwitz up to 1955 or so." Although it at first appeared unlikely that Ian McKellen will reprise his role, recently he stated that he would actually be playing a younger incarnation of his character due to a digital effect which is able to make him appear younger, as used in the opening scene of X-Men: The Last Stand. Rebecca Romijn, who plays Mystique in the X-Men franchise, has been approached about a Mystique film. Reputable movie news site http://www.superherohype.com has reported that X-Men: The Last Stand screenwriter Zak Penn is now writing a third X-Men spin-off film as well.

They are making a spin-off with Logan, but yeah I think they should make an X-men 4. If I were to have any X-men power, it would be all of them ('cept Marie) all rolled into one. Why? Duh. I'd be the strongest person in the world. If I only got to choose one however, it would be pyro, because I am a pyro, I love fire, and well he's the ****. I want to be as cool as him. : )

god i wish people would stop saying they are making a part 4
there is NOTHING that says they are. onyl thing people refer to is a claim that Hallie Barry said to patition for it.
From day 1 it was only a trilogy with two spin offs.
