Back in the day we would try to have the vest and tie match the dress color. Then he would make sure to match/compliment the corsage bow to the dress. The boutineer would just be a mini version of the wrist corsage.

if you want to. it all depends on what he is wearing and if you want to match. like if he is wearing green and your wearing orange then you have got a problem.
just go with what looks elegant on you and you both will look great together.
hope this helps

Maybe he could wear a white shirt with a navy blue tie? And ik what u mean about the black suit and navy blue shirt, that wouldnt' look too great so white suit w/a navy blue shirt? that or just go with the first idea. Hope that helps a bit.

You should compliment each other. His vest/tie/whatever should match your dress, but YOU should be the focus!

maybe a little.. not too much or else it just looks cheesy and over-the-top. Maybe get him to match your dress colour with one of his accesories .. tie/bow, whatever.

i think his cumberbund, tie and the corsage/boutineire, should match your dress. if not, it still looks nice.

Welllll, traditionally he'll have a color that relates to your dress, like his cummerbund/tie, etc.
So...yes.
