No. If you are under 18, it is illegal. A parent can lose custody of a child for allowing such a thing. You are young enough to be foolish, but your parents should be old enough to know better...and so should the pedophile that is interested in you.

You didnt reveal your age...But if you are under the age of 18, even 17 a 24 yr old man is way to old for you. You need to stop and think what is a 24 yr old man wanting with an adolescent. He is way out of your league. Try and find someone more your age. In the long run you will be better off.

Your parents are in complete charge of your choices until you turn 18.Then you will be responsible. No you can't get like a paper to date someone but if there's any sex between them the older one could end up in jail(at least in most states).

If you are under 16 years of age and have sex with a 24 year old man he can go to jail and have a sex predator record for the rest of his life. He will have to register as a sex offender forever. So dont do that!!!

If you are under 18, it's statutory rape if you have sex with him. Anyhow - no 24-yr old should be dating someone obviously as young as you are. If your parents agree, and you get pregnant, Social services might step in. Your boyfriend could go to jail. You could end up in a foster home.
If he wants to adopt you, your parents would have to give up their parental rights, and the adoption would have to be approved by the courts. I can guarantee that no judge would ever do that. Your boyfriend woudl then legally be your father. Stay away from him.

I don't think 'I' could do that...he'd be really old, then! haha, just kidding!

No, but seriously, why would you want to date an older man, anyway? Boys are way more energetic, not as deep and deep thinking as older guys, who are learning that life is more precious and not as lasting as younger guys feel. Younger guys are more exciting, take life by the horns, and aren't afraid of anything! I'd give anything to be young again...as I'm sure you can tell! lol

I don't like how that sounds. Any 24 year old man who is going out with a girl under the age of 18 is up to no good. The majority of teenage girls who get pregnant are with guys over the age of 20, and many of those guys run away as soon as the girl gets pregnant.
This question just proves my point:

I'm not aware of there being any legal impediments to "dating" an older man. I don't even think "dating" is defined under the law. But I am not a lawyer admitted to the Illinois Bar, and my opinion is worth exactly what you've paid me for it.

probably not. make sure you do a background check on this guy- it just doesnt sound right that a 24 yr old wants to be with a young girl- ask yourself if you were 24 would you try and get with underaged kids? dont be blind
