There's a chance your first time might not hurt, depending on whether or not your hymen has either already hurt or has been worn down by physical activity. Gymnastics and horse-riding are both things that can tear your hymen (Which is why women used to be required to ride side-saddle on a horse. That way there'd be proof they were virgins on their wedding night.)

Unfortunately, most women do still feel pain, even if they are physically active and have been riding horses. The best ways to cut down on the amount of pain are to make sure you're fully aroused before he enters you, and to use a lot of lubrication. Whatever you do, don't tense up before and during his entry, as this just hurts you more. What my husband did on our wedding night, since we were both virgins, was he had me sit on top, and I controlled the sex. That way, when I wanted to stop for a minute to relax, or go slowly until I was used to it, I could.

After wards, I laid down with a really warm wet wash-cloth between my legs. You'll probably be sore for a day or two after, just take Advil or Motrin (they're better for muscle soreness than Tylenol is).

No, your vagina doesn't stretch open when your legs do! If it did you'd be able to feel it. So splits won't make much difference, sorry! Sex won't hurt as much as you're probably dreading it will though, you shouldn't worry about it! Just ask him your first time to go in REALLY slowly so that the skin stretches rather than rips, it helps alot. For some people it doesn't even hurt at all.

Sex for the first time will hurt with anyone..unless you've been using tampons for a long period of time, then the pain might be reduced a slight bit. people say riding horses tears the hymen..and i rode horses for 8 years, even coming home sometimes with a bit of blood in my panties....but when the time came and I lost my virginity, I went through agonizing pain.

It won't hurt as much because the hymen has probably already torn. But it doesn't mean it positively won't hurt.

P.S. Please wait until marriage.

P.S.S. It shouldn't be "You know how to do a split". Everybody "knows how" to do a split. You are physically capable of doing a split, is what you should have said! Lol! (Sorry, I just have a habit of correcting people!)

doing splits and being bendy does make your vagina 'looser'. to make your first time feel good, let him finger you a lot with 1 then 2 fingers and stretch your vagina out a little. and do plenty of foreplay to make sure you are plenty wet down there. If you aren't that wet, use KYjelly or something else so he can slide in and out easily.

If you are athletic there's a good chance that it won't hurt, but ultimately, it's going to come down to how relaxed you are.
I can't tell you it won't hurt, but, it will only get better once you know what you are doing!

Good luck and don't give it away to just anyone.

it will probably hurt. doing a split just show how flexible your hips are; it has nothing to do with how much your vagina can accomodate. it also depends on the size of your man, and your size (vaginas can vary in size just like penis)

yeah, that has nothing to do with it. it might mean that your muscles won't be sore the next day..

hurt has to do with sizes (your and his parts) and preparation (make sure he either takes care of you for a while or uses lube, you don't want to be dry down there..)

shouldn't hurt too bad (if at all), just tell him if it does.
use a condom please!!
