i dunno but im just going to take a chance with it to see if it will help me grow taller (i am pretty sure i will grow because im only 16 and still growing). if it does not work by any chance, would it at least not prevent my growth, such as messing up my growth plates, etc?

Herbal supplements are a little risky. Seeing they are not regulated by the FDA, so those companies can put what ever they want in them. (lead, steroids, poop, etc)
There has been some research done on consuming calcium and growing taller. A recent study has noticed in some asian countries, mainly countries that are adopting western lifestyles and drinking more milk, and increasing calcium intake, have hada national increase in average hieght.
The key here is to get enough calcium, vitamin d, and phosphorus. Many people forget phosforus when talking about calcium. It helps your body process calcium along with vitamin d. It is also important that you are eating enough, for your body to grow. Try to cut back on junk food and eat healthier stuff that isnt in a premade package.
There is also a good amount of genetic invloved height, so dont forget that.

With genetics ignored, i have been following these rules and i am 6'-2", and the tallest in my family.

So drink your milk and eat your pees.

yep, u are right...about still being in the growing stage... do rest and have afternoon evening naps (hour to two).. most teenagers don't know how important it is to have enough sleep and rest inbetween to allow your body to grow, and include a moderate amount of bamboo shoots in your diet (unless u are allergic to them), say one serving 3 times a week...
