When I went out to check on her she was pulling out more fur... is this a sighn that she's getting closer to having those babies?

Well, if she is near the end of her gestation period ( how long she is pregant for) then yes she is getting ready to supply a warm and comfy bed for her newborn babies! If she is rather far from it, she could just be showing signs of anxiousness and anxiety over her pregnancy-- be sure that she is getting lots of attention ( but not too much, that could cause more stress) and treats. Sometimes during the day they just need to be in a dark place to reset and calm down!

yes, she is making a nest and a spot that is soft and warm so when she gives birth, the babies will have a soft warm spot to be in. when rabbits or most rodents are born, they have ltitle to no hair, which is why rodents tend to pull hair, burrow in and gather cloth to help keep their babies wamr when they go for food.
