I received a violation notice today to a question I felt was acceptable and I noticed that there was an option to reply to the email if you wanted to challenge the removal. So I replied but have not heard back. Has anyone ever challenged a violation and what happened?

I've never gotten a violation notice but on the "forums" which used to be a forum and now seems to be a Suggestion Board, I've seen posts from people questioning their violations. And I've seen the Yahoo Staff sometimes respond. Good luck to you!!!

They will send you and email but won't remove the violation. They told me they don't get involved in people's conversations or something like that.

yes. I have had two reversed. It rarely gets reversed though.
if you get an email back that says they are looking into it, that means that you lost. otherwise, they will probably email back and say they restored your points.

No, and I wouldn't either. I don't really care about my points so if I said something wrong then they can take them from me without a fight.
