What irritates you the most about other drivers?

I'm so glad you asked. I moved to Louisville, KY about six months ago. I was tired of life in the big city. Now I long for traffic jams! They drive like the Dukes of Hazzard here! It's crazy! People talk on hand held cell phones and their heads are tipped to a 45 degree angle. They veer to the side of the road on which they are holding the phone, and Lord have mercy when they make a turn! They change lanes on top of your bumper. I just brace myself for the impact every time. I often turn on my emergency lights when I see a car or one of those damned F10's with jacked up tires barreling down on me on the Waterson expressway doing about 90 mph and then they switch lanes at the last available second, just inches from my rear bumper and that of the car in the lane they have selected. I can almost hear the "Yee Haw!" as they whiz by. You have to speed just to stay safe! Then you'll come up on someone doing 40 mph a quarter mile later. The 55 mph posted signs must be considered just a guideline. I see two or three rear end collisions a day here. I literally don't start the car without praying first!

I hate to be biased but i have issues with some seniors driving.. I honestly believe they should have to have drivers tests more often because many are not very mobile so they cant look at blind spots (I have on many occasions been cut off by a senior because they cant check) and there reaction time is much slower. Many are aware of this so they drive slower, which is also a big hazard.. I am sorry if this offends anyone, but unfortunetly it is true

When they drive like they are in such a hurrry and it's your fault you are only going the speed limit and they yell and flip you off. Tailgaters. People who change lanes without signaling, cell phone users who don't get caught like I did! People who cut out infront of you like they are in such a hurry then slow to a crawl doing 10 mph for 30 miles and then they speed up in a passing zone so you can't pass them, and then slow down again after it. Older people who have their wrinkles over their eyes so they can't see the road and are all over the place. People who brake suddenly because they almost miss their turn almost causing an accident. Tourists... "Oh look Franny! There's a really cool cloud ahead. Get the camera out while I slow down and let all these people in back of me slam into my bumper."

I wonder about the folks that drive 40 mph on an open freeway. It's understandable if they are elderly. Its the middle aged folks in the econoboxes. I don't get it. are they single handedly trying to thwart global warming or are they so hard up for money, they just drive that slowly?

Either way, these slow-pokes are a menace.

yes there are alot people out there still that drive very slow not singals ever road rage shooting each other on the freeways all the time you have old people that mistake there gas petals for there brakes all the time running over people crossing the side walk to get to the other side in ever thing else in children driving with out a driver license in all so killing other people

People who drive without due care and attention to other road users. This would include the tailgaters, the non signalers and the must get there first brigade.

How dumb people can be on the road, like driving on the wrong side of it, or not useing turn signals or head lights. Stuff like that that you usually see all the time.
