According to the American Association of Medical Colleges, about 35,000 students apply to Medical school each year, and about 17,000 are accepted. Some of those are applying for a second or third year, so you could be in the 50% rejected this year, but be accepted in a later year if you continue to improve your resume.
Obviously, if you are not a strong candidate, it is likely that you will never be accepted no matter how many times you apply.

I don't know, but I know someone who didn't get into any med schools he applied to - and he applied to a lot. Now's he's on the national board of health. So it doesn't necessarily mean you won't be a good doctor - keep trying.
