American Idol is a very popular TV show, but what do you think? I miss Chris Daughtry and Katherine McPhee. And more of course. I know LaKisha and Melinda are awesome! But what about the others?

i think none of them are as great as season 3... that was the best. american idol is losing their taste.

Season 5 was my first year of watching AI. I'm sadly disappointed in the crop of people the judges sent to the top 24. Now, it's filtered to the 12. I'm let down that the American public is voting to keep some real stinkers in the mix ie Sanjaya and Haley. Talk about snoozers. I feel it's stepped away from finding real, undiscovered talent and more about who is most visibly appealing or who Simon says is great because they can knock around a few power notes. Sad, really. I'm happy to see Chris Daughtry doing so well considering he came in what, 4th place? He's succeeding far beyond the winners..and whatever happened to 3rd place Elliot Yamin?

I don't like Senjaya Malakar. I know of this one site that gets all of these people who don't like the worst singer and they all vote for him... the same happened with Kevin Covais. It's so mean... but other than that...they aren't really that bad...Melinda is probably the best I've seen between the two seasons, except for Chris Daughtry, that is...

This season is definately worse. There is very little variety. There are a couple of great singers, and a few good ones, but it isn't as good as last year.
