Like most things in life, there is no simple answer for this grasshopper. Many factors come into play, such as texterior, irritaion, allergies. If you have normal skin, and can stand it, use a razor. First wash face with hot washclothe, lather, shave with grain, wash face again. Last step apply aftershave, and maybe tissue.

My suggestion is for the first time shaving Do not use a straight razor... could be a bloody mess. I think you should use a disposable razor the first time.

you get a razor and some shaving and after shave, put the shaving cream on then use the razor to shave off the hair then apply the after shave.

Use hot or very warm water and shaving cream to soften up your whiskers before you shave and shave in the direction the whiskers are growing, do not shave against the whiskers as this will hurt and push the whiskers alittle back into your skin causing irritation. If your whiskers are growing down then shave down, if they are growing up then shave up.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
