ok, im 14 and i got mine done for the third time a few weeks ago. theyll shape them however you want them to. tell them to take a little off the top, make it smaller at the end, etc. i got mine done on a saturday, and it wasnt red at all when i went to school. most salons will spread aloe vera on the area that was waxed to soothe the skin. it might burn for a little bit, but its a good cooling sensation after a few seconds. at the saon where i go, they lay you down on a table and talk to you about the shape (see above). then they wax how you told them to, and at the end, they pluck the hairs that werent picked up by the wax. it really doesnt hurt that much. dont be so worried!

I can imagine how worried/anxious you are but it really isn't a big deal. It doesn't hurt that much... they lay you down and if you are to wax or pluck them, hold the surrounding area of your skin tight (it just hurts a lot less that way). When they wax it they just have really tiny strips that they use. I don't even get red around them when I get them done now... if you do, just put ice for the "puffy marks." I always get them plucked cause i'm too nervous of the woman making them tooooo thin.... make sure she shapes them well whatever it is that she does cause after that you will be following the shape to pluck off the extras when they grow back I suppose!? Hope it goes well...

I got my eyebrows waxed. It was very easy. They wax between your brows, and above and below each brow and pluck out any stray hair. It was red for about 5 minutes and then I went home. It cost $13 and was no big deal. It hurts more to do them yourself

I wouldn't get them waxed because they may do it in a way that you don't like and there is nothing that you can do about it then. So i would stick with the plucking if i were you.
Trust me , it is not as painful. He he
Good luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i go on Saturdays and really its no big deal the red gos away in a couple of hours and it covers with makeup. usually if its your first time and stuff you just get them cleaned up and all the under hair removed. then they go after the middle ones with tweezers and it doesn't hurt that bad it just gets kind of irritating.

oh, you should get them waxed. and it doesn't hurt. they will only be pink for an hour or so. and you will see impressive results. always keep tweezers on hand to shape your brows when they grow back. if possible, it's best to get them shaped every week or tweeze them yourself.

I use a razor to shave my brows, and usually when I finish I do at times have the redness, but all I do is put some ice to it.
