I am completely intrigued with the weather, anyone of my friends calls me for the forecast. They also call to check on me after a thunderstorm. I have an extreme phobia and suffer panic attacks on some occassions. I really do not know where this fear comes from...I have been to therapy since it has gotten so bad. He seemed to think it was the mere fact that it was something that I could not control. Although I am terrified of them, I love the sound of the rain at night...but add the wind, lightning, and thunder and the many tornado watches we have here and I am a complete basketcase. I wish it was not like this because honestly i can see where people see the beauty in them through pictures. At least in the pictures, they cannot hurt me, lol.

I like them too. We get a lot of rain here in the Pacific Northwest, but not very much thunder and lightning, so I enjoy it. When I lived in Colorado, I worked as a storm spotter (although not a chaser), as I'm a ham radio operator, and really enjoyed it. I have been through a couple of tornadoes, and prefer to experience THOSE at a distance!

What's the question. There is something awe-inspiring about a thunderstorm rolling in. We don't get too many tornados in this part of the world, which is OK with me.

I love storms. I live in Florida and get excited when hurricane season approaches. I want more than anything to see a tornado. I'm hoping to go on one of those tornado safari's soon. People think I'm nuts but I'm so fascinated by Mother Nature and her fury sometimes.

i like them a lot if they aren't to strong that they are dangerous, i was in a very strong tornado and i was very lucky to live because over 900 people were dead or killed so i do not like tornadoes now. Though i love the rain at night because it makes me fall asleep and the lightning is a magnificent creation of God that i love.

Oh yeah, I have always loved them. Here in Nebraska we get a lot of them spring through fall. When I was younger I would stay up for hours from the first flash of lightning to the last one. I moved my bed up to the open window so I would wake up right away. I definitely love them!

I love extreme weather. I've only seen a tornado once, but it was incredible. I also love listening to the rain, and when it rains (if it's not too windy) I'll open the bedroom window and lay in bed listening. That's heaven.

Me too! Especially at night because it gives a good light show. I always have a thunderstorm on my birthday in late July, so I always get a good light show as a present!
