Cancun shops will offer you plenty of opportunities to purchase gifts, travel needs, sporting goods, quality liquor and more. Cancun is a duty-free zone; here you pay the lowest prices in Mexico on items such as perfume, spirits and fine jewelry.

Cancun City, where most of the local population lives, is a picturesque site where you may be able to bargain, take your chance. Because of the rich cultural diversity of the region you can find all kinds of unique stuff.

Along the right-hand side of Tulum Avenue, the main street downtown, is a sprawling market-bazaar where you will find several Cancun shops with people try to persuade you to look at their wares.
Another good spot to check out for souvenirs is Mercado Veintiocho (Market 28).

And of course La Isla has many brand names stores.

All the same stores you have in USA. Prices about the same. The only bargains I have found are in silver, rum and vanilla. Some mexican ceramics were priced average.
If you go to the markets maybe the prices are lower.
