the list of crap that is called rock these days is shocking. we have Emo stinking up our airways, with songs about nothing, no talent actually required to play their instruments. we are heading into a time when cheap theatrics is replacing actual musical talent. band like fall out boy and panic at the disco whining about how their GF lest them and their life is not worth living or whatever, it seems that every day that passes some new emo crybaby song hits the radio and the shelves at the record store and it is passed off as rock music. what happened to the days of dimebag, and Vinnie. the days of grunge where while the lyrics were not always the best they were about the music. even punk rock has gone to crap. some of the old legends are selling there soul to make a buck. what happened to making music that said something and required actual talent to play. where has it all gone?

i have really listened to their music. i have tried so very very many times. and it sucks. they have no real talent to speak of and the lyrics are about nothing at all except ex gfs. and yes evenescence does rock. i prefer lacuna coil and nightwish. but just because they are both a little heavier. but you are right evenescense rocks.

o yeah and my theory is it started with staind. while they kick a lot of ***, they wrote a lot of songs about heartache. and they all became very popular. just a theory.

It sucks! I'll watch Fuse's No. 1 Rock Countdown and all I see is little EMO fags whining. I miss the days of Metallica, Pantera, Rage Against The Machine. Slipknot, Stone Sour and Godsmack still put out some good songs and so does Korn, but the rest of that sh*t is horrible.

It's made for all the young teenage kids who don't know what good music is. They think just cause it's on the radio and MTV it's the best music there is. That crap sucks.

Maybe if you actually listened to Panic! At the Disco, you would realise their songs are nothing like you described. The only one that could be misconstrued as such is "Lying...," and that one is entirely sarcastic. They don't classify themselves as Emo, and they really are not.

Exsqueeze me but...EVANESCENCE ROCKS!! their music rocks. they may not be the best (in my book they are) but they are very good and Amy Lee sings oh so very good. PS- did you know the first real album Fallen sold far over 16,000,000 copies. they are selling more and more with the Open Door

uhhh...I actually like that music. Maybe if you really listened to the lyrics of it you'd get it. They don't whine about missing their girlfriend....and you don't HAVE to like the music. Try something new instead of complaining that music sucks. Most people i know like this kind of music. People have different tastes. Live with it.
