Well i was on the depo shot for almost 4 years and once i stopped taking it my period came back that next month, i got pregnant 11 months later.

Depo-Provera is not a good choice if you want to be pregnant in the next year or two. Why? Because it typically takes 9 to 10 months to become pregnant after you stop taking Depo-Provera as a contraceptive. It could even take up to 24 months after discontinuing use of Depo-Provera for you to become pregnant. The length of time you use Depo-Provera has no effect on how long it takes you to become pregnant.

. After stopping birth control pills, you might expect to get pregnant as soon as your next cycle, or not for another 3-6 months.

Keep in mind that only 60% of couples get pregnant after 6 months of trying, so if you haven't gotten pregnant yet, it may have nothing to do with having taken birth control pills recently. These rates increase to 80% by 12 months and 90% by eighteen months.

Hi there. Depo is awful. I was on it for almost five years and then it took me over three years to get pregnant. I now have had three kids in a matter of four years, so there is hope. I took Robitussin (exporatant) 3 times a day, for five days before ovulation along with a ton of water. It loosens up the mucus and worked every time for me. Good Luck.

For some people conceiving is easy even on the pill. My advice is to stop taking it and eventually you will get pregnant

It depends on if you are ovulating and if you are having intercourse at the right time.
