Not a Ravens fan, but from an impartial perspective, McGahee is definitely an improvement from Lewis and he is more mature than fellow injury-prone back Peterson.

not that adrian peterson would have fallen to you guys anyway, but its a good move for bmore, they need a back since lewis left. not a fan of his contract, i dont think he is worth that much, but thats the market these days, hes lucky he has rosenhaus doing his talking. the knock on mcgahee is that he dances around too much instead of just going straight ahead. so he would often pick up just a few yards. and with bmore losing pashos and their FB and ogden might retire, i dont know if willis will be that good at least not worth his contract good.

I'm not a Ravens fan but this was an awesome deal.I think the Ravens will be the team to beat the AFC because of it.

i'm a bills fan and i'm glad to see him go. mostly because of his character issues, but he hasn't done much on the field to impress me either. don't count on him to grind out the critical 3rd or 4th and short on will power. he has shown to be ineffective in the passing game and mediocre at best as a blocker. he tries to break to the corner far too often instead of hitting the hole for reasonable gains. he is on the turf writhing in pain an average once per game. i could go on but i think you get the point.
i expect him to play hard for you guys early on. when properly motivated, for example his games vs his old roomie vilma and the jets, he can run hard. but eventually i think you'll see he's a rb who's never going to be as elite as he is in his own mind.

mcgahee is a very good fit for the ravens if they improve the o-line thats a pretty good offense.
