I'm just going with the first thing that comes to mind,it was the first summer that my sister and I went to separate sleep away camps. I went to a Performing Arts camp in upstate NY that performed plays for the area ( THERE WAS RECENTLY A MOVIE FILMED THERE CALLED "CAMP",ANY ALUMNI?).
Anyway I was cast in The Diary Of Anne Frank and in one scene I had to run up wooden stairs. I somehow ( oh so gracefully) caught my foot in a rung, and broke 2 bones in it. It swelled about as big as a baseball. The show went on, and after I went to the ER.

Watching a girl cry, kick and scream, because she was being dropped off for our first day of Kindergarten. Most of us were a little scared and sniffley, but she was positively THRASHING against the teacher, and clinging to her mother.
